You guys buy a lot of CDs!

seriously, every third post in this forum is about a new GU cd someone's bought. Are these mixes really that great? Worth the 30 bux every two weeks? (or whatever HMV is selling them for) When I look to my selection of bought CD's half of them are crap. I hate paying good money for a crappy, boring mix. Why does boring mixing seem to be a necesity for mixed cds? I'd rather spend my money on something a lil more creative, which doesn't just showcase the new top 12 (average length of a 74 minute mix cd) If you wanna hear good mixes I suggest searching for demo material. From my experience a lot more thought and elbow grease goes into them then your average mix.

so really how many new cds in a month?

Peace & love. D

hahaha..'bought'.

Progressive flows like wine on the net.

If a mix I download really inspires me though, I'll shell out the cash for an actual copy.

I'll second that! I've actually bought maybe five of these compilations in the past two years or so. Vinyl Junkies have no money for CDs (or anything else for that matter)!
