Yet another LOTR thread

Is it just me, or was all of the credit given to Frodo totally undeserved? He was a giant fuckin' pussy that collapsed and cried every twenty feet, while Sam had to figuratively and literally carry his ass to the finish line. He even carried the damn ring for the hardest part of the journey. I think Sam should have been able to take his family on the boat to elf-land, and left Frodo to nurse his gimpy finger and write in his journal all the live-long day.

Not to mention the fact that he trusted Gollum the evil hell-demon to take care of him...

Thoughts?

The ring was a magical or pychic burden that wore on Frodo every step of the way. Sam made it to Mordor, Frodo made it with a figurative piano on his back. That's why he craps out in the end and Sam needs to help him.

They mentioned this in the movie more than once if you were paying attention. Even Sam noticed it at the beginning of TTT.

Having answered your question I will now state that this topic was not thread worthy. The other would have sufficed.
