My Auto-shotty build has Grip, Juggernaut and martyrdom, I use it mainly for getting the 2nd flag for Domination in the little map with all the shipping containers.

switch it up to my build for a while, try it out in some merc TDM or regular TDM (on some maps). Vacant and backlot are good starters. But you have to play stupidly aggressive. Take the m9 pistol as backup.

ignore juggernaut, sleight of hand will make you a god with the semi auto shotgun. Dont forget to interrupt your loading animations if you get surprised by someone and you are reloading all 4 shells. (click down rs to interrupt)

Yeah, I'll give that a try.

Call of Duty: World at War Gets First DLC
Set of four maps coming in March.
by Nate Ahearn

February 10, 2009 - Activision and Treyarch announced today that Call of Duty: World at War (which is still the most popular game on Xbox Live) will get its first dose of downloadable content in the form of four new maps to be made available sometime in March for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. No price point has been announced.

Map Pack 1 will include three new maps to the standard competitive multiplayer modes. The first, Nightfire, pits players in the streets of WWII Berlin; Knee Deep presents fortified Japanese installations to be destroyed; and Station is the remnants of a subway system ravaged by the war. The fourth map is an add-on to everyone's favorite Nazi Zombie mode called Verrückt (Moves in English) where combatants will find new weapons, new "Perks-a-Cola," and electroshock defenses to help thwart the endless horde of brain munchers

I hate that this thread moved here - way less activity.

Is it possible to watch an .avi or .mpeg movie off my USB key through the xbox?

Any video that you would normally be able to stream to your xbox you can put on a memory key and watch. Just select the external device option.

I think it's pretty unanimous. while i dig the game-specific threads, i'm totally not digging the general xbox discussion being lost to this forum.

I wonder if alex would put this thread back out there, in the general forum alone. it could hang out with the comic book thread.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 This Holiday
Activision Blizzard reveals next COD game coming near end of year.
by Jason Ocampo

February 11, 2009 - During its fourth quarter financial conference call on Wednesday, Activision Blizzard revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is due out this holiday season. This is the project that Infinity Ward has been working on, and it sounds like a direct sequel to its 2007 blockbuster hit.

Last year's Call of Duty: World at War, which was developed by Treyarch, was one of the year's biggest selling games, and helped in Activision's better-than-expected profits in the fourth quarter. This is in sharp contrast to the losses reported by the company's competitors.

SF IV japanese version was leaked yesterday, if anyone wants to give it a spin before they buy it. I think it'll be exactly the same as the north american release, since everything is in english.... although some of the cut scenes don't make any sense.

The NA/UK release lets you toggle between Japanese & English. No such feature on the Japanese version?

No option... however, it's not region locked so I assume it'll probably be Japanese on Japanese consoles, and English on English consoles.

When I said it doesn't make any sense, I meant the dialogue is typical Capcom japanese to english translation... not that it's in Japanese.

If you finish arcade mode on any level with Ken or Ryu then you get the option to toggle english or japanese language

Hah, yep, I was playing it on Medium Hard to raise my skill since I'm no good at these fighting games since the original SF2. After lowering it down to easy, I beat it as Zangief (after three continues:() and now have the ability to switch between english / japanese per character. Not only does it change the cut scenes, but also their in-match vocals and moves. Neat.
