X-Mas Breaks - Serenity

Well I've finally woken up and thought that it's about that time again to give my insight on the night.

A big thanks to everyone who made it out last nite, was a great party which made it a perfect birthday present for me too

Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves alot and the music was definitely rockin' for the entire nite, all dj's played exceptional sets and Marcus rocked it with the UK garage.
=)

Besides my drunken stupor

*which only occurs once a year* the rest of the night was truly epic. The ppl made the vibe last night.

A big thank you to Brad for pulling this night off with only one weekend for promoting.
A night which I really wished I could've done more for but skool was my priority.

This was one of the best birthday presents ever and I'd like to thank each and everyone of you again for making this night a special one.

Hope to see you all in the year 2001 for another year of quality music and of course breakbeat mayhem

ooh ooh ooh, i havent sat down at a computer since friday!

this party was a blast.

every set was bang on. squirt's scratching madness, marcus' garage goodness, the big league chu look alike contest a.k.a. popsicle pete's set, angus' wicked new track

and brad's surprise jungle finale...

absolutely amazing.

guelph crew, you know how to party. molly, neil, matticummer, vivajay, kate, kyle...
i have wicked memories of that night.
oh, and Cheer Bear, ROCK ON! ac/dc and kiss forever.

one last thing, all these toronto ravers bitch and moan about the tropicana, but this was my first time there and i have NO COMPLAINTS. perhaps this is a result of the recent renovations but i've been told they weren't very drastic. so quit whining and recognize a clean, mid-sized, decent venue when you see one! sheesh.

p.s. everyone i met seemed to be on the young side (17-19) which kinda made me uncomfortable, until i realized that there wasn't a single thug in sight. there was no attitude or hostility or any of that crap so i've realized that raving might attract a generally younger crowd but its better than a bunch of people who happen to be legal but have enough beef and attitude for a small south central gang.

This was one of the best parties this year no contest!

I knew Marcus was going to spin some amazing Garage but I had no idea he was going to play ALL of my favorite tracks. That set was pure musical blisscus!
