I'm trying to find out if it's true what I thought I heard on tv. It was a citypulse update, and I had my head in the paper and it sounded like she said there were seven shots fired at turbo nightclub in the last 15 minutes.
I'd like to know if anyone else was watching city and heard the same thing.

confirm you were smokin too much reefer? Nope - as per the shots - I, like any lunar-sensible person avoids the downtown on full moons, let alone on such an important religious long weekend, and it was nice tooday - people are actin reetarded.
Hopefully it was not shots - but I was downtown in the early evening and it had an ominous feeling to it - hopefully it was not shots, and if it was lets hope noone was hurt let alone passed.

It was the second consecutive rough night for Toronto police, are they were once again kept busy by two separate violent incidents in the city’s core. Fortunately, unlike the night before, there were no death reports to sign.
The first altercation took place at the “Turbo” nightclub on Adelaide Street in the wee hours of Friday morning. Two people were injured in a shooting, one of them seriously enough to be rushed to hospital. The man underwent surgery for abdominal wounds, and is in serious but stable condition.
Another man was hit in the leg by a stray bullet and suffered minor injuries. Police aren't sure what led to the shooting, and no gun was found on the scene. They're looking for suspects.
A short while later, two men apparently got into a fight at a bar near Spadina and Bloor. Officers say one of them pulled an unknown object from inside his jacket and struck the other around the head. The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police expect to make an arrest in connection with the scrap.

Well the SPadina and Bloor scrap was probably drunks from the Brunswick house.
As per the Turbo thing - its crazy! Really sucks when stuff like this happens. =(
