WTB: A couple classic Jungle Tracks

I was digging through my crates of classic jungle last night and I remembered a few tracks that I desperatley need to complete my collection.

1. The License Remix - Krome and Time?
2. Give me a dubplate - no smoking records
3. Desert Storm - ???

That's all I can think of right now.
Drop me a PM if you can help me out.

I would consider buying re-pressings or compilations too.

Those tunes are pretty hard to find .......
I think your best bet would be to check out Play De Record
(they always have classic jungle) or to check on ebay or some internet record stores.

Mash Dem Down/ Lighting and Thunder-
Rude Bwoy Mounty - No smoking/Unity
IS REALLY HARD TO FIND and can go for lot's of cash
BUT it's mos'def. one for the collection.

The License Remix - Krome and Time - Tearin Vinyl
Good track. I'm actually lookin' for this too.
I'm hopin' that it get's re-pressed on Tearin Vinyl Classic's

Desert Storm - ???
Now this would be a cool tune to have.
BUT I'm not sure who's it by...????

I got it @ Play De.
I think it was a re-press, but it was on Sub Base, so Sub Bass repressed it.

It's isn't a great pressing however, it crakles quite a bit.
I don't know if I could play it in a club, but at home it's fine.

I had to ask for it as they had a stack in the back, which they considered unsellable.

They just gave it to me.


Man is it a great track.

These tracks are totally out of print.

Subbase has the decency to repress their hits every now and then. I'm fairly certain that the Hype Remix of RIP was just old stock kicking around. Hence the quality was a little low. (I could be wrong though).

I do have the Licence remix and Mash Dem Down (Give Me A Dubplate).

I think I spent over $100 for the Mash Dem Down on Ebay.co.uk

I have the one that was released on Unity (which is still no smoking
BUT the Cat. # is Unity 002)
I want to know if they're the same or not????

My copy is UNITY #2.

No Smoking is a label that came later from the same camp I think. They repressed it with a re-rub on the flip in '97. Those days I had no loot to buy vinyl. Watched other punks buy records and then get out just as fast!

I don't really play my copy but something tells me I should hold on to it.

You'd have to break your bank to get me to part with that copy.

Ya, I had a feelin' that there was a release on No Smoking.
Cause when I bought mine it didn't look like the one I've seen before
on ebay and such (the 97 release)
