Morality of pornography as it relates to women. All the authors he assigned are the atypical conservatist feminists like McKinnon and Dwokin who basically preach pornography as the reason there is patriarchal domination in society.
Seriously. They blame EVERYTHING that has ever befallen womeN (at least in the exerpts from there books I've been reading) in terms of male domination/female objectification and dehumanization on the porn industry.
It's kinda narrow minded. Addressing the symptom rather then the illness.
Anyways trying to argue for the potential of pornography to liberate women rather then imprison them.
But I'm on my tenth page and I'm starting to stop caring.
So you work in a porn store now? wikked cool

And I do have books lying around like listen up: voices from the next feminist generation, Bitch: in praise of diccult women, Temptresses: a virago of evil women, Cunt, Slut: growing up with a bad reputation, Reviving ophelia...etc. etc. etc. The problem is the prof is MAKING us refer to all these articles that are anti-pornography. We can use outside sources but the body of the esssay has to address the coursepack shit.
