i don't even really like hockey, i'm just glad we showed those cunts who's boss for once.

they're probably pretty sad right now, but i'm sure that'll all change when they find another poor country to bomb into oblivion.

I would imagine that for the most part the majority of people in the states could probably care less about losing in hockey..I doubt anyone is really sad,infact I am willing to bet more people watched the Nascar race yesterday in the states then watched the hockey game and that should just about say it all for americans........

That could be true, but when the US and Russia played it was highest TV rating ever for a hockey event in the States. (Something like 7.4% of all viewers).
Not sure if they'd miss out on the chance for a gold metal...

I doubt it. We're talking about the highest profile event in the Olympics. When the Olympics are in the US.
