We're about to make history. For the first time, the global dance community will work together to raise money for charity.
The hedomism, energy and creativity of the worlds most exciting
music genre will explode across the planet in a series of club
parties, big events and TV specials, with all the proceeds going to
world-wide children's and music-related charities.
Every clubber knows that music makes them feel good but what many people don't know is that it can help disabled and disadvantaged children to lead a happier life. Nordoff-Robbins, the international music therapy charity, treats hundreds of children and adults every week but, like all charities, it needs funds to carry on its good work. This is where we come in.
World DJ Day will bring together the biggest names in dance music for the first annual fundraising effort. Clubs and DJs from Argentina to America, Australia to Africa and all points in between have pledged their support.
If ever there's been a reason to party then this is it. So let's show the rest of the world just how much the dance community can do for others.
