Winter Storm March 3/4 2023

Well, this turned into quite the blast of winter, at least here in KW.

Probably a good 7 or 8 inches of heavy snow, and still coming down a bit. And I can’t remember the last time there was thunder and lightning in the winter. Quite a light show last night.

Just cleaned off a bit of my front step and man is it heavy. Made sure to gas up the snowblower yesterday and fill up my gas can.

And I just took a peak out my back door onto my side deck. 2 to 3 foot drifts in places.

Guess I know what I’m doing today. And walking the dog should be an adventure.

Stay safe everyone and take it slow, no matter what you get up to today.

I had about 8" here in Upper Canada on the river. I couldn't deal with it without a snowblower!

10 inches in East York. Took me an hour an twenty minutes to do the porch, walk, a path up the drive to the area with the bins, the back deck and access to the smoker and BBQ. Thankfully got it done at 0700 before the sun started turning it into even heavier snow.
