why is kitchener so boring??

so, it's my first friday nite off work since october and what am i doing?? sitting at my computer.....
we've been trying to find something to do but this city is rediculiously boring.....i mean, most smaller cities have more going on.....kitchener doesn't even have a downtown...
bassically, we've narrowed it down to 3 options.....going to felicity's, but i find it way too sketchy there or we could go to phil's which is growing very old or sit around and smoke weed all nite...
so, if anyone has any ideas as to what me and my friends could do tonight it would be greatly appreciated...

I agree that you should just get to Toronto if you want something else to do other than what is available in KW on a Friday night.
I spent more time in Toronto on the weekends than in KW before I moved here.

Mike Shannon ran Abstract on Thursdays, and Terry ran Platnum (with cheap drinks too!) on Sat....

i really hope you're not implying that i'm boring, cuz you're way off.....i just came on here because i haven't been off on a friday nite in soo long that i didn't know what goes on in this city.....just thought someone would be able to suggest something that i didn't know about....kinda like tonite...just checking to see what's going on and i'll be off here by 8:00, ready to have the time of my life....but come on, you hafta admit it's a lot harder to find something fun to do in this city than it is in other cities but that doesn't mean that i don't have fun when i do go out....sorry, i'm a little defensive, work was a bit stressful today...

And befriended a guy with a drug lab.

Point is, it's easy to sit around and complain that a place is boring.
OK I lived in Alliston and Bolton a while and that was pretty rough, but you know, still not boring. Just more of a challeng to find something wonky to do. But it can be done. It can always be done.

And no, NoCo, I wasn't talking about you, hence, the caveat.
