Who wants to go indoor rock climbing tonight?

^^^At this place? I'll be there from about 5 until 7 tonight if you want to meet up for a climb. It's in Hamilton, just off the 403, beside the Hamilton Spectator building.

I was planning on going for a while, so I just thought that some tribers would want to come. It's a great workout.

It will cost about $20 in total for a daypass/harness/shoe rental.

And if any Hamilton peeps need a ride, let me know now because i'm leaving in a half hour.

If I didn't feel so CRAPPY today I'd seriously consider it.
Oh and that it is in hamilton... which is a little bit far.

i adore indoor rock climbing. i did it all through highschool, and a couple times at Joe Rockheads.
if you ever go climbing downtown i will come with for sure.

Cheeka, there's a few indoor rock climbing facilities downtown you could try out. It's not that hard and really fun!

my friend goes to that Joe Rockheads one d/t... I'm just a HUGE procrastinator :) - I do really want to try it though...

Ok, i'm leaving now. If anyone else decides they want to come, here are the directions:

To get there, go to the Spectator building on frid street. Right beside it, there is a steel-sided warehouse building. Turn off of frid at the first driveway beside the spec. There will be a big concrete block at the entrance to this with a sign that says "No Trucks".Drive through the gravel parking lot, all the way to the back of the building, and there will be a door that says "Gravity" on it. You're there!

I will be wearing a pair of khaki Fiction pants. I wear glasses, too. I'll be there from 5:30 until 7.

I know watcha mean. It takes alot of energy and incentive to go. :)

I could hardly grasp anything afterwards, my forearms and my hands hurt so much!

Be warned! :eek:

(I climb at a 5.9/5.10 level. )

I'm looking forward to the climbing gym tonite in Ottawa. Getting ready for the season, so I'll be wearing myself out in the caves. I wish I was out at the local crag right now instead of here at the office

i got dropped from like the equivalent of the 3rd floor and the person stopped me just before i hit the ground.. needless to say i undid the harness and punched said person in the face. :mad:
