Last Samurai = good. Tom Cruise will most likely get an Oscar nod for this. Ken Wantanabe walks away with the film however.

depends what you want:

lost in translation was a good flick. won't make you say wow, but it will make you laugh and reflect a little, and it's a cool little slice of modern Japan

I am stoked to see the Last Samurai, reviews I've read have been good, and Tom Cruise doesn't do many bad movies
