we've been down since saturday.

no good reason as to why from the host, which is whitelabelpromotions but at this point everyone is focusing on the magazine we're putting out, so nobodys even gotten around to it I don't think.

I hope it goes up soon though.......I need an update on my hockey pool !

I'm glad it's down, I don't have to do updates, even though there has been a swing in power for the pool. We are no longer under a reign of tower by a ruling female hand.

and Ave....yah Rinse magazine due to be released in mid june.

beta site is up now at www.rinsemag.com

you can download the pdf media package to get an idea of what it's about, but the first issue is free, and 64 pages...the rest is a surprise!

check it out, should be pretty cool! :)


oh, and the server should be rebooted today....it's just in an odd spot, so we have to get someone else to reboot the damn thing.

allways looking for writers...the first issue is taken care of because of the time line for publication, but if you're interested in issue 2, or other potential projects we're interested in talking to anyone who's interested.... I know Rich is asking for a few samples of previous work.

Is it always gonna be free, because(this is just an idea)i wouldn't mind paying $8-10 for it to come with a free disc, spun by our locals(or US DJ's) showcasing different labels and sounds.

Just a thought

well, the first one or two are planned to be free, and they'll continue to remain free provided that advertising is enough to fund the project, which is absurdly expensive ($30, 000) for 10 000 coppies.

if it's not though, then we may have to make it 5 bucks or something like that...but you're right, the cd idea would be super wicked....if advertising is what we hope, then cd's may be viable and still have it be free.

cd's are pretty cheap to produce these days.

you mean Tigerlily who shows up 3 hours late for games (if at all) then talks on the cell phone during the last minute of play is no longer leading the pool?

haha...too bad.

and where can we pick up these magazines when they do come out, Tack One? :)

I was leading the pool for the first 2 days, then vox started kicking all our asses....last time I checked I was in 3rd place....

I don't know how else to explain my late arrival except for the fact that I got pretty loopy and lost track of time...mmm alize and gingerale and other stuff.....mmmmm

and I wasn't on the cell phone THE ENTIRE TIME. I was just trying to coordinate the evening...

and you guys were suppose to show up at turbo! I did NOT see you guys there...then again I started seeing double when I started pounding back more drinks...2fiddy BO!

ps/ might I just add that I got suckerd into this hockey pool biznitch...eeny meeny miny mo....hey that guy has a cool last name I'll pick him!

co-ordinating what evening? the evening WAS hockey. haha...

and we all went to Mercini after, at which point Wes and Der popped in and told us not to hit Turbo cause it was empty. they said YOU didn't show either, so I figured fuck it.

in the end, we all went to element for vitamin d and stood around like dweebs with expensive drinks.
