For my house dose I usually hit up Aria on fridays, its on richmond just west of spadina. Always a good crowd and Dino and Terry throw down some deep house that always puts a smile on your face and gets your ass dancing.

Toronto is kinda ate up now but if I had to recommend parties on a weekey basis I these would be my picks:

Temple bar monday, it has just changed and I have caught word that it is a whole new night, next week you will be able to hear dj's like Kenny Glasgow for no cover.

Tuesdays: I would have to say Bamboo

Wednesday: Nasa but only the first wednesday of every month ;)

Thusdays: More of a techno sound but for sure it would be element bar.

Fridays: To be honest nothing really that I like on a regular basis but there is always parties popping up.

Saturday: Element bar for Amtrack, and Mark Scaife

Sunday: I don't want to say because I do not wish that place upon anyone!

These are only my picks!

friday march 15th @ temple bar
you can check out deeno (bloom!, spirit sound, guelph)
alongside a vocal performance by ania skomorowski (singing herbert's 'leave me now' on studio!K7) and
resident dj joel lopata (found love, toronto)

nice atmosphere, lounge area and dancefloor. plus a few special surprises (including a live saxophone performance).

this should be very nice.

other than that, i would recommend checking out the infinite garden on friday march 8th.

peace.

i absolutely LOVED deeno's set at OM this year. seen him a few times and he's always been good. i'll keep that date in mind. hopefully i don't have to work at 9 the next morning like today.

I'd agree with the Element recommendation, mos def.

I was at Mad Bar maybe two weeks ago on Friday night for the first time. I wasn't overly impressed. Decent music, crowd wasn't what I like, nor was it too busy. Too top it off, it seemed like there were no women. But I was extremely, extremely drunk so my judgement may have been clouded. :D

Friday nights, I like Inside (but it is always rammed) and Money with Mark Oliver, the one time I went recently was ok as well. You get more of a progressive sound in those places, but a progressive rooted in house. Furthermore, both clubs have multi levels with different music. House upstairs with my buddies Ramy v David (a shameless plug) and R n B/Hip Hop downstairs at Money.

But Element is indeed a good call for house week in and week out.

Peace,

T

Last few fridays that I went to Element on a friday it was a mad Sausage party!

has that since changed because there is a major difference between the friday and the Saturday crowd there.

To be honest our city needs something new to knock our socks off!

I went to Surface on Saturday night (right beside Roxy Blue) and I heard some amazing sexy, soulful, deep house. :) The tunes were amazing and the crowd was really cool, older well dressed but not pretentious. Beatiful people, both the men and the ladies and the vibe was really great I forget what the night is called but I think its thrown once a month at Surface.

The party in which you were refering to is called LOW KEY

We throw out every month or so.....Appreciate your feedback and look forward to having you again..

We usually mix up the music ..a little from house to a little hiphop along with a bit of DnB and two-step.

Andy Roberts and Ben Jammin were the two house D.J's for the night.
