So in about two weeks we are heading down to TO for a bachlorette party... Where is the best place to go for fun and drunk times, good people and good music?? (We've been to all the typical places, so something new would be nice!)

Go to The Social on a Friday for rock night. Eat at The Drake and then walk over.

Good times. Everyone will love it.

Dont plan on Remmingtons except for Sunday because they dont let you in if you are a chick unless you are Margaret Cho on any other night

I know some girls who went to the Devil's Martini and had a great time.

I went to Republik for a bachelorette recently, got VIP treatment for the girls. We were given access to the VIP area and a bottle of champagne and some pictures for the night. It was pretty sweet, all the girls loved the decor, music, people. They all want to go back, so I guess its a good choice if you have a crowd with mixed musical interests. But make sure you dress nicely!

Does black little outfits with red devil horns and bowties count as nicely :)

My gf organized a bachelorette party at Ultra in the summer with a bunch of other bars scheduled to hit that night.

They ended up staying at Ultra and not one of them payed for a drink that night....

Ultra is very shi-shi, can be quite pretentious. Summer is great there because of their awesome patio. Music wise...I believe it's Mark Oliver on Fridays, and I'm sure house music of sorts on Saturdays. More of a supperclub kinda vibe...at least until it gets later.

Basically, my gf and her group drew a lot of attention because they obviously looked like a bachelorette outing, so guys just kept buying them drinks and shots....guess they figured they'd try their luck with the bridesmaid's...hehe.

Guys tend to be agressive in that joint, but on this occasion they all had a lot of fun.

You could maybe have it as a starting off point for your night so you can leave if it's not your thing?? That's what they did, but ended up staying. But make reservations...that would be my advice.

I second the Social as a good option as well....it's always busy, and the music is mixed format...mostly rock and retro on fridays...and total mixed bag on saturdays but more on the funkier tip, reggae, hip hop, house, etc...

In all seriousness, when I was at the Mod Club for my birthday, there was a huge bachelorette party there and they seemed to be having a blast!

If you'd like more of a britrock or alternative feel, that's the place to be!

el convento would be the best place for a bachelorette party. it's got such a fun mix of people, drag show at midnight, hot hot salsa dancing...

You only want a place where dancing ON your table is accepted. And in some cases, encouraged.
