perhaps the people who are calling to ask are not the same people who post on tribe and are 'in touch with the throbbing member of the toronto scene'?

it would be nice if cbc could convert itself into something similar to bbc radio 1 ... an opportunity to showcase the creative & often cutting edge electronic & urban talent in this country (of which there is a lot) ... it's time someone in radio recognized there is a lot more to music than oversampled r&b & grunge rock circa the edge (yeah right) & energy 108's stale playlists ...

you could probably run programming on cbc for a year & only scratch the surface ...

full respect to george for his success & LA ...
