So long as I laugh...

All this painfully mundane analysis...

Who cares what motivates the writers, who cares who you think they're making fun of, who cares about anything except the simple fact that this show can still make me laugh day in day out. It's entertainment people, for the masses, not for your own personal pleasure.

Maybe if all the constant detractors actually sat down and watched the show like they did when they were 10 years old, they *might* actually enjoy it again...just a thought.

it's amazing to me that episodes that were kinda 'meh' when they were new are so fun to watch in reruns. i think people get really high expectations for the new episodes and judge them too harshly.

<---- still watches simpsons 3 or 4 times a day. and likes it.
