Whats with Kazaa lite ??

I download it and it only works for 1 day.
On day 2 , it says there is a new version out and you have to download it , which always fails ; then it will never connect after that. W.T.F. ??

Not that big a deal , but any advice would be appreciated.

make sure that you fully uninstall the spyware version of kazaa if you had it installed...and run adware too.

sounds to me like kazaa full is still installed with a portion of the spyware. uninstall it again and make sure to run adaware or spybot then reboot and run adaware again and then try installing the proper kazaa lite ++ (hacked version at www.k-lite.tk) again

Now I'm having the same problem. I went and downloaded the new Kazaa Lite. But when I went to uninstall the old one, it wouldn't because it says it's still in use. Does Kazaa Lite use components of the original to run?

Sympatico users like myself should stick with the old version. I believe K-Lite requires a minimum of 1 upload at a time whereas my version allows 0. Earlier this year, after letting Kazaa idle with uploads, I was charged $80 by those bastards!

i would recommend NOT using an old version of kazaa or kazaa lite

any problems you are having is almost surely because of preinstalled versions and i would recommend adaware or spybot. new versions of kazaa lite www.k-lite.tk do not force you to allow any uploads and also block certain things to help you be a bit more anonymous

as for the mp3s with messed up parts halfway through - ive been getting this a bit lately too and think its just corrupter downloads but who knows - it may be stuff someone has uploaded to corrupt the tracks?
