To add another layer of protection against spam on TRIBE, I have implemented a scaled membership structure. As of today, any new registrants who are activated to post on TRIBE will immediately become a "New Member" and stay in that category for a short probationary period until automatically being bumped up to full membership, becoming a TRIBE Member.

New Member is a probationary level of membership on TRIBE. New Members can reply to existing posts but not start new threads. New Members can fully search the board and will see less advertising than unregistered visitors.

TRIBE Member is full membership. TRIBE Members have the ability to start new treads, reply to threads, edit their profiles, use the private message system, and they see less advertising than unregistered visitors.

TRIBE Promoters are full members who also have the ability to list events in the Upcoming Events Forum.

    TRIBE Editor... hey! that's me!
