What's a good present for a 5 year old girl?

I need to go shopping for my God-Child. And well, I dont have any idea what is hip and cool for the 5year olds this year?

I want to get her something she'll really like, but have no clue what to look for.

Any ideas?

do you know what she likes? if not - ask the parents what she likes. i hated barbies when i was little...not every little girl likes them.

it doesn't have to be a surprise for the parents.

My God-Child is SUPER creative.

I got her a Beads set last year to make necklaces.
And Tonz of Different colored pens and whatnot.
Coloring Books
And 2 Disney Movies
And a Stuffed Animal(Stitch)

Barbies are always good

Get her something to do with painting or drawing (and make it extra messy, your sister will LOVE that) hehe

Get her a "smart" toy....some computeresquey thing with sparkles, so it looks cool. Like one of those new speak and spell toys, or a lego set. Now is a good time to trick her (lol) into thinking learning is cool
