What the hell is Bubble Tea?

I was @ the eatons center today and every corner has a likkle bubble tea shop...

what is this fucking crazy shit

been on every corner for awhile.
Its basically tea with tapeoka (how the hell do you spell that?) pearls/ balls in it. they make for great spitballs when fired through the large straws!

I love bubble tea!
I drank liters of it in Taipei.

The tapioca balls were 1cm in diameter.... big like gummy bears.
And the tea was made with milk... and had the scent of a fragrant flower.
Delicious!!

i was downtown with dan and he made me try some of this stuff.

gagggoriffic... so disgusting.

i couldn't get over the texture of the bubbles

Tru it with the lychee tapioca which is really good and doesnt get stuck in the straw quite as much. Im a big fan

i think sometime's it's just more fun to ask and get people's varied responses like the ones in this thread, than it is to look it up on google.

i vow next trip to toronto, i must try said bubble tea again to refresh my memory... i recall sort of liking it?

I had bubble tea over the summer time at the C.N.E.
I didn't like it
It bothered my stomache, I think bc it's so sweet.. also I dont like to chew my drinks.
