I was saving files from an old crashed hard drive, came across some old alternative/indie rock type ish that I loved back in the 90's, and threw them on my iPod for my trip to and from work, and really impressed me again.
Hayden - Everything I Long For
great storytelling and that classic awesome indie sound (90's indie, that is).
I dont know how to sum up this song, "Skates", but you may be depressed after listening to it. but in a good, moved kinda way.
Eels - Beautiful Freak
this album is just a great listen and transitions from the first song (Novacaine for the Soul) through the end (including Your Lucky Day In Hell). it hits a lot of sounds but moves smoothly. I'm posting a song from around the middle, Not Ready Yet.
