i love techno because it is essentially abstract.
i dig abstract forms of art because they're generally the most open to interpretation... they allow you to fill in the blanks with personal experience, throught, reflection... whatever.
Note the possible contradiction that can happen if one becomes evangelical about being abstract or open to interpretation.. Paradoxically, their closed..

pop music can be nice... but sometimes i don't want to be bashed over the head with an obvious hook, or lyrics etc... sometimes i want blanks i can fill in... but a structure that allows to me focus on something... just enough to let me reach a clear state in a sense.
ya, some mystery is nice.. manufactured pop often loses this by the nature of how and why it's made.. $.. spirit doesn't compute well in that equation

I love techno when the mixing is almost constant and the tracks are built RAW to jack your body. If I want to space out; progressive elements.. If I want to feel like a lesbian; electro sounds.. If I want to save the world; trancey vibes.. and like the wise man said If we want to get present and maybe connect with other people; house. Music can work with the context of your life. If that context is constant, the same musical structure will feel good. If your state tends to change, so does the structure of what you listen to. Point is, we need all kinds of people and music to make the world go round, so don't be a hater.. let a playa play!
