What happened on the Simpsons last night?

Damn it all, I missed it. What happened. Need to know if it was the Canada episode or the one where Homer smokes weed.

It's the one where homer breaks his leg playing basketball, and decides to open a daycare at his house since he's stuck inside recovering from the injury.

personally i found the simpsons unfunny last night- the episodes from 7-8 that is.

i just watched and was like "Yaaa Ha-ha wheres MY SIMPSONS! the actual funny stuff"

I know I know, I should be ashamed. And I knew I was mistaking Disco Stu over there....

The trampoline episode, you could see how that could be confused as homer's daycare...no?

There were hundreds of kids at homer's for the trampoline, that one I won't feel shame for.
I am a true Simpsons geek, and I stand behind that one Rosey....an honest mistake we'll call it.

just cause i was thinking about it today....

my top three best/favourite simpons episodes of all time are:

1) Strike at the Plant: soooooo much that is classic simpons comes from this episode. 'dental plan/lisa needs braces', 'liar! why must you turn this office into a house of lies?!?' & 'hold still while i gas you', etc. all come from there, in fact that episode is one oft quoted line after another. and burns' tribute to the grinch at the end is gold!

2) Homer works for Globex Corp: with Hank Scorpio as the supervillan/great boss, 'stop him, he's supposed to die', 'the hammock district', 'awwww the denver broncos....' etc.

3) A 3 way tie between Homer is a Vigilante, Proposition 24, and the Insanity Peppers episodes. I'd give the nod to the Insanity peppers episodes except i think it falls apart a bit at the end.

trivia question: name all the occurances of the 'who wears short shorts?' song in the simpsons. i can think of three.
