ontario peaches go lovely with ontario rack of lamb, bbq'd w/ salt pepper & rosemary. Gonna see if I can make some sort of caramelized peach sauce next time.

Fuck, I love ontario lamb, and dem peaches, too!

Two nights in a row, I'm having rib eye steaks again for dinner. I will cut back on the red meat and my salt intake after tonight's meal. My dentist did not want to proceed with our appointment earlier this week. My dentist said my blood pressure was pretty high and I failed the digital reading twice. They did another reading with the manual device and I squeaked by and barely passed. Supposedly,the manual device is more accurate than the digital blood pressure reader. Does everyone's dentist make them do a blood pressure test before their dental appointments?

im 46, and apparently have the blood pressure of George Clooney.
I'm quite surprised...done did done a boat load of drugs since i was 20.
Now, severely toned down the drugs, drank way more beer, and devour meat.
still solid.
can't touch this.

blood work coming up next week. I'm really not worried.

First crack at Tom Kha Gai. Haven’t found a place that makes it properly in years, so I decided to try for myself. Traditional ingredients. No substitutions. Grabbed some Keffir lime leaves, Thai fish sauce and galingal from T&T on my way to work. Spent the last 2 hours prepping this.

Nailed it. Silky, delicious, complex goodness!!!

well, it came out like lean smoked meat. supposed to be Angus, but lacked the marble. Ah well, hopefully better next time. Gotta get a feel for brisket...

Flintstone Surf and turf ...













Marinated the calamari in Vino, rubbed the beef short ribs in salt, then smoked with charcoal and pecan wood for 7 hours today before grilling the squid for a couple of minutes at the end
