Did anyone catch the lofters?

One of the faceless drones on that show happened to interview action whore WESLEY SNIPES!

He asked the usual questions, but then he asked if it was true that he was a DJ!....snipes said yes, then he invited the dude to a club and then they showed mr.demolition man ripping it up!!!....tearin' down the dancefloor like donald glaude!

no joke,...but I saw it briefly....does anypne know what the fuck he spins...id be very interested to know?

that is by far the coolest thing I have heard today.

HOWEVER

what if he's gonna be this big time huge token dj (a la perry ferrell). and the media is gonna be all over it, then he's gonna have tracks on much, ok this sucks. It would explain the blade soundtrack tho. Looking sweet.

I thought some of you might have heard already, but at the Blade 2 party @ Koolhaus a few weeks ago mr. snipes actually stepped up and spun for a while...

I wasn't there, but from what I heard he is actually pretty decent... he has the beat matching skills, but apparently his levels were way off... but that's understandable, I doubt he actually gets a chance to DJ in a big club like that very often...

and as for what he spins, at Kool Haus he started off with House & Trance and then moved into Hip Hop/Urban... apparently he even dropped Robert Miles - Children :eek:

I really got to see this in person!

True story, one time a while back I'm at the Opera House with some friends during the Acid Jazz festival. We see this guy at the table next to us who looks just like Wesley Snipes but can't be because he's way too short.

So my drunken idiot friends and I start making jokes about what the Wesley Snipes movies would be like if they were done by a really short guy. We were pretty loud because this Wesley Snipes look-alike guy looked over a few times and then tried to ignore us.

The next day I saw it in the news. Wesley Snipes was in Toronto checking out the Acid Jazz festival. We were dissin' the real deal!

I felt like a jerk but at the same time I was laughing my ass off for a week.

tee hee back in the day he was at a party at the warehouse off his face groovin to dominik he spent the rest of the night with us he was totally fascinated by hardcore. Everytime he comes town he blows a disgusting amount at play d last time I saw him there he had filled a bag with like 30 or more rekkids and he was buying fucking everything, house, jungle, hip hop, instrumentals, soul whatever the fuck. It was funnier this time cause there were two guys with him and it was pure caribana flashback... guys were video taping fucking everything. He's actually pretty approachable... considering I'm taller than him. guy is hardcore incognito but is basically a pretty decent guy.

Here's a fat juicy scoop for y'all:

2 or 3 Saturdays ago, a couple of female friends of mine were invited to the Presidential Suite at the King Eddy Hotel for a "private party". They were specifically told to not bring anyone other than themselves, i.e leave the loser boyfriend at home (these girls are hotties, I might add). They all meet in the lobby of the hotel at 10:00pm and are then escorted up to the suite. They walk into the suite...dimmed lights, full bar, decks/mixer set-up, hotties everywhere and a full range of "party favours" ;) .
They were then introduced to the host of the evening - Mr.Snipes.

The party lasted a couple of days.:D
