Shit happens. I was feeling a bit of Orange Ritchies set. Definately feeling the Dukes. Good to know people stuck around to show support. What the HELL was with the single file side to side line at the back of the club? That was some next shit!.
Ponder me this Sherlock ... I know "me", Stormshadow, Gunark, The Mighty Plum, PinkAngel, DJ MONKEY, and myself are Weaver heads, but when did all others start to feel him/get hype for him? Was this Weaver related or 2am related? Keep in mind this is just a question because any other time he plays T.O. I've never seen this much "love" thrown at him.
Word! in the "red room" was that Michael Holtzman was responsible for the visual stimulis, intelligent lighting, and toiletries. I guess the Word! was wrong.

Me and jess were questioning the thought at 1230-to go briefly catch weaver. W forogot about that, but due to our lazyness, we didn't go. Kinda glad in a way, didn't make the trukk for no weaver.

this is the second time you've posted something along these lines in our promotional threads. The first being the comment about "weaver + team jackass = piss, beer and bodies everywhere." which means what exactly?
Anyway, he had a work permit and everything was ready to go I'm sorry you've been misinformed.

Tale a pill Alchemy....Team Jackass is a self proclaimed group of party animals who have been known to get extremly drunk and cause a rukkus whenever Weaver, DJ Dan, Chris Anderson or anyone else who they like is in town.
Team Jackass even have their own t-shirts, If you've ever noticed a group of guys jumping and yelling in front of the DJ booth, giving people "love lifts" or just running around grabbing people's asses at System, Turbo or any Dose event for that matter then you've seen them in action.
"Weaver + Team Jackass = piss, beer and bodies everywhere" just means your party should have been good....if Weaver would have showed and if Team Jackass would have blessed you with their pressence.

I dropped by for a bit, cauge the end of Orange Richie's set and the start of the Dukes.
Both were rocking it pretty good!
Had a good time, but was suffering from a headache so had to leave early.
It's tough with a space that big, got to have a big crowd for it not to feel empty. There were a lot of people there but it didn't feel that way.
Really feel for you guys not having Weaver show up.

First I want to appologize for Barry doing a no show on saturday. As of yet we don't know why and we'll let evertyone know as soon as we know. I also want to set the record straight: Everything including his work permit was taken care of and in place. We keep our business very professional and wouldn't have it any other way.
Yeah there's NO WAY those decorations are from Holtzman, I hope!
Nobody even said this> he did not decorate the place. We were experimenting, sorry if people minded it that much.
To DJ Monkey and Robb G: on behalf of Derek I opologize. Derek and I are still a little pissed off at the no show and I'm cerain he misunderstood you're post. Please don't take it personaly.
I want to thank everyone who came out to support and our fiends who spent their precious time helping us out. I'm sure the nights to come will make up for saturday.
The Dukes fuckin' rocked, thanks guys you really add flavour to our resident line up. Alchemy tore it up well to. (After he came back from the airport, he drove all the way home again to pick up his records and despite all the stress still managed to spin a wild set.)
Anyone who was ther witnessed the vibe and energy of our crew. Next week come see our other resident ADDY, myself and of course the legendary MATT C.

I think that nobody should owe anyone an apology. If everyone wasn't so quick to judge and jump down ppl.'s throats all the time. And saying that monkey was slandering a promoter, goes WAY over the line. Obviously he said that to confirm whether or not they did have a permit. By saying he 'heard they didn't have a permit' is looking for verification, rather then coming right out and saying 'they did not have a permit'.

Talked about The Dream BEFORE FREAKIN' '00 and nobody had much to say ie; "This night is gonna rock", "Can't wait" etc. Obviously this is nothing against 2am, just wondering why peeps who could care less a few months ago are all over him now ie; 2am related or Weaver related?
