Stuck in hospital in Aliston and just got back in time to see the 3rd period. A great game! I was cursing the snow on my way home to catch the game I can tell you :)

Edit: Desperately going to try to stay awake to see Rochette. I am so exhausted. Damn.

So first it was the British press getting all wound up near the start of the games (proabably cause they're hosting the next games in 2 years, gotta make themselves look good).

Then the Russians declared us war criminals and poor dmitri cancelled his trip cause his #1 ranked hockey team didn't show up.

And now the press out of Jersey are questioning our sporting ethics, from Montgomery swigging back have a pitcher and the ladies celebrating with stogies on the ice after yesterday's win.

Man, honestly people...

Ah, I wasn't claiming they were but rather suggesting that some of the *issues* that they're getting all worked up over makes them sound like mrs. lovejoy.

I certainly wouldn't be apologizing for accepting a 2L container of beer right after winning a gold medal, just so as not to *offend anyone*.

Suck it up IOC, it's 2010.

Mixed feelings as well. I'm all for a party after a big win like that, but it doesn't look so good on-ice.
