Tune ?

while vacationing in Switzerland i had the plesure of partying and there's one thing i would like to bring back to T.O with me...

The tune signs. Big white signs with the word TUNE on them. They're given to everybody upon entry to the party. When you like what you hear hold up the sign

When a DJ puts out a nice vibe you see a sea of white signs. The DJ can follow the crowd easier and you get to hear what you like, it benefits everyone

We know how to party in toronto, Why don't we do this here ?

cuz people will probably say its dumb and cheesy... but i think it's neat.... they should do that for junglists, a MC can't call for a reload unless the signs are held up.

yeah, there used to be a bunch of people that used to do it at the guvernment, and at the parties in the Kool haus, but I agree, it's pretty over with now

Actually it's not.
There's still one that goes around; they've been doing it now for close to 2.5 years? and they have about 35 signatures on it.
I asked the guys about it and they gave me a business card that said "Tune Promotions" with the word TUNE! on the back

yeah, the last time I saw that would have been Paul Van Dyk at the waraehousea year and a half ago, it was a february show and they were there with the big sign and he signed it alright and everything, but i haven't seen them since

i wouldn't take much to bring this back and imagine what it would do for the scene. If i didn't like a set and enough people agree they would not show their tune signs.

i hate to be a crybaby but it's one thing i really loved and really miss about partying

No, then you only get sets which are composed entirely of anthems.

I also saw the tune signs (THE large tune sign at guv/warehouse) many times over the years. I saw it for that night with pvd and I'm pretty sure I saw it another night more recently. Could it have been S&D? Maybe Deep Dish.

Tune is nothing new. Agreed, it is fun.
