would anyone be up for a weekly hike in the rouge valley ? most probably on sunday mornings/early afternoons.

Go for a nice 2 hour stroll through the woods, enjoy the cool air and hopefully get a glimpse of some of Gods creatures.

it's not that far from the city... maybe half an hour tops. In the east end of Scarborough. 401 east, exit meadowvale... go north towards the Toronto Zoo and it's like two minutes away.

I've seen snakes, rabbits, groundhogs, chipmunks, squirrels, deer, turtles, pike, owls, hawks, falcons, woodpeckers and black crested chickadees that eat from my hand.

there are a bunch of trails, all of which are really scenic.


anyhow.. if not.. I'll still be there.

two hours can go by really quickly when you're out in nature on a gorgeous day.





so.. if need be.. we can make it 1 1/2 hours.

for those of you outside the GTA...

there's no reason you can't find your way to the local 'forest' for a walk.



what would be a good time for everyone. I'm assuming pre 7am would be no good so that rules out watching the sun rise.

although... 11am would be a good time also. that way.. we can meet up... get everything done by 1pm... so that we've all got the rest of our afternoons available. and... we'd get in some good exercise.

you'd have to dress accordingly too.

if it's a nightwalk yer lookin' for... the best time to go would be after 10pm. it's a trip walking through the rouge at night.

saturday morning sounds good.

go for a bugluh with kreme chez and a kaaafeeeeee.... then hit up the trails.


I'm still down for sunday too.
