Ok, had an idea.

Alot of people here make music, right?

How about putting together a cd (ok, maybe a cdr) with a little something from each music person on the board?

Some years ago, some friends on a newgroup called rec.audio.pro put together something like this. I remember it working out pretty well.

Anyway, has this been done before?

Ok. That's my idea.

If anybody needs mastering, I am willing to do that. I'd just need a wave file and a reference track you want it to sound like. Make sure the production is good so that nothing is clipping or going over 0db.

Who's doing the cover art? Who's making cdr copies (unless we find some way to replicate)? Where (and when) do we release?

How many songs per person? What's the entry deadline?

Don't forget there'll be art and copy, and if something like this (with profits going to charity and, apparently, an idea to replicate) does happen, any help is good help.
