Tribe Book Club Version 2.0

New book. We're gonna start fresh.

Tentative meeting date: after the new year on a Sunday evening. Preferably the end of January or so.

Place: Jane's place in Boystown.

I need to know who's still interested and then we shall pick a person to pick a book and create an email list of participants.

A group email update will be sent shortly after this thread fiasco dies.

I'm suggesting either Lullaby or Choke by Chuck Palahniuk.

guess i'll give it another shot. it's not like i mind reading another book.

but can i bring the research i did on the first book that i never got to discuss with anyone?

I quickly lost interest in it because I just assumed it was using the same formula as Fight Club. I could start it again.

A good controversial book would be better though. A book that will make some people laugh and some people wanting to barf. I'll come back in a day or two with some suggstions.

If you guys read In Defense of Elitism, I'd come.

Just because I've read it already so it wouldnt take much time to refresh on and because it would be sure to promote some serious fucking discussion and because through reading American Gods I realized I just don't dig on fiction lately.

i'm in. but i might be late depending on hockey. but i'll be there.
