well, ^^^^^^ that makes me want to go to a darkrave
but seriously, how does a farily casual type like myself dress for a darkrave, i've been meaning to go for while, get back to my goth-wannabe roots and all that but i have a feeling that the usual khaki cargos/button t combo will stand out like a bump on a log.
i guess it's time to reach way back to the back of the closet and pull forth combats and sisters of mercy "fuck me and marry me young" t-shirt huh? maybe i'll buy some black cargos.

Well, my friends and I take it as an opportunity to "go a step further" and do crazy hair and make-up stuff, wear lots of shiny/UV-reactive clothing and accessories...but by all means, no one else has to do that.
I just came back from England and was quite inspired by the "cybergoth" scene...too cool. We are so behind and deprived over here.
But like someone else said, don't change your style for one night if you're not comfortable. As I said, it attracts a wide variety of people...some of my friends are way more casual...they just wear phat pants and t-shirts, and I don't hold that against them.
I myself don't even wear jeans, and I wish I could dress the way I do for clubs more often, but I work in an office where they don't particularly care what I look like, but I can't go -that- far.
The one thing I don't understand is the "supergoths" in long-sleeved velvet dresses...it gets so hot in there, ugh.
Oh, and I forgot to ask...Alex, did you take lots of photos, and where will we be able to find them?
