Another dissapointment.

Big ups to Lush for delivering a great set. I danced my ass off. But once again T S has dissapointed me. I love thier production and have a while bunch of their records but as for playing them - I can't get into it.

Uninspiring.

At one point I couldn't dance because there was no proper beat, reminded me of Shimon. Which everyone seemed to love and I found it to be noise.

Good to see Turbo packed. And word to Willar for throwing down some oldskool. It had me spinning around.

what a good night it was this friday.
I spent most of my evening in the breaks room..... of course

(dj) J-red spin an ok set,
but I think (dJ) willar-x has a tighter scratch than him though.
Maybe next time he comes back to turbo,
they should go head to head???

Also couldn't the headliner somehow start at 1am??
I understand the excitement of waiting till 2am......... but I left around 2:30am - 2:45am so I missed the a lot of his set.

so yeah,
Cya next Friday.

total science was a dissapointment to me as well. their set lacked an energy or vibe that made me want to move and at times their mixing did sound like it was just noise. their mixes weren't really off tho, i guess it was just shitty programming on their part.

set of the night definitely went to lush who's reminding me more and more of andy c everytime he plays. loved that digital teaser during casino royale.

We can all say that the headliner for tonite was Lush. Total Science should have been the warm up for his set.

Booo! I never left turbo so early! 2:45!!!

I couldn't really get into Total Science's set. Too hard and psychotic sounding. There's nothing wrong with that kind of jungle, but I didn't find their set to have much of a flow. It was worth sticking around until 3am though just to hear them drop one of their oldskool hardcore songs (I forget the name of it, but it's a 4 to the floor song with hands-in-the-air pianos) as their last song.

The night was still fun overall though. Great sets by Lush and especially Unknown Souljah! (I think it was him, i was hanging around the back so didn't see clearly). Nice to see Gord playing some funkier stuff like High Contrast for a change. Turbo was also pretty packed for the main hours which was good to see.

Overall a good night, but a bit of a disappointment from the headliners.

I fully enjoyed Total Science last night ... but I do have to agree with everyone that our locals (Lush in the case of last night) are equally as competent and skilled as out-of-town dj's from the UK. Still, I find it a treat to be able to see UK dj's and that promoters bring them here. Sometimes we get a wicked set delivered by 'em, sometimes not..

I think the last time Total Science came to Turbo was a lot better than last night, but still, I had a great time.

Big ups the Lush, Ruckus and Unknown Soldier for throwing down wicked sets last night too!

*especially lush!*
