didn't realise you needed invitations now.

i just checked the site and apparently i don't have any to give. :(

why can't this be more like gmail where i don't even have enough friends to take all my invites?

thanks for checking :) registration was open so i grabbed a login - thanks for the headsup!

i've been using gmail quite a bit for the past couple months and haven't seen any invites for a long time.

What "code"? All the torrent info is kept in the torrent file.

As long as the browser doesn't prevent you from downloading any files from the internet, browser compatibility is a non-issue when downloading via torrents.

I think what Jos and myself mean is if I click a say "Halo 2" from Suprnova.org in IE6 I will immediately get the torrent window (I use Shadow's).

As I just tried clicking in Firefox 1.0, my download of the torrent file is on my desktop or whever else Firefox is set to download to. From there, I have to double click the torrent file which tells Windows where you want the file to go upon completion.

So, you say this is fixed Jos? I'm still getting the same time-consuming method.

Yeah, as far as i can tell. I downloaded and installed Bittorrent and Azureus client the other day, and clicked on Chronicles of Riddick, cause i felt like watching that craptastic space-action-opera again, and when it opened the torrent file, it fired up Azureus seconds later.

The reason why i held off using BT for so long is because of how it only worked with IE. and on my comp, it did, but It wouldn't work with Firefox.
didn't i say that already?

There is the Torrent file used to initiate the DL, and the download itself.

Make sure you are trying to open the avi or whatever media type file instead of the torrent.

It might be gone. A lot of sites come and go. Hawkie's-World.org has been restarted about 4 times and you had to re-register each time. But it was the best board for a long period of time. I think DigitalForum is gone as of this week too. :(

I was able to get everything I needed between Hawkie's & Digital Forum, but they were both down last time I checked. :(
