I can never get enough of these threads! Always interested in knowing what everyone else is hammering.

(Not in any specific order)

* Allen & Healey- Drug Music
* Foremost Poets - Moonraker (King Unique Mix)
* Medicine - Ape don't kill ape
* X-press 2 - Lazy <-- Didn't like at all but now really like, prefer the vocal over the dub.
* Sinead O'Connor - Troy (Creamer & K Remix) <-- was also iffy but has really grown on me.

And in addition, just because I finally found the name of it and think its great...

Alcatraz - Give me love (Zabiela's Loop Remix)

1. Chris Lum - Big Tool [TANGO]
2. H-Foundation - Passage of Time [SOMA]
3. A Small Phat One - Change [CHANGE] < Don't know how old this is but its deadly
4. Keli Ali - Kids (Rui Da Silva Mix) [ONE LITTLE INDIAN]
5. Hipp-E - Things Change [NIGHTSHIFT]

Totally feeling Halo and Hipp-E (H-Foundation) as of late. Can't wait for their album.

Again? Cool...haha
I'm bored so here's mine...

Disco Assassins - Hook U Up (Against The Grain)
-Been my top number one record for two months, just can't get enough of this track. Four on the floor track that burst out suddenly into a kick-in-the-butt breakbeat basslines. A track with loads of funk.

1st Of Some More - 1st of Some More (Beaten Communication)
-A slightly melodic tech-housey track with tight repetitive snares throughout. The highs are so distinct and somehow makes this track very sexy(???).

Rev - What Is The Man Like? (Garia Mix) (ING)
-Twisted percussions over rolling basslines. With weird sax for the first half of the track and then just the rolling basslines all the way.

Proper Filthy Naughty - Future Burn (Filthy House Mix) (10 Kilo)
-A fan of their work. This house mix perks things up with that funky basslines.

DB+ - That Thing (Koma & Bones Remix) (Distinctive Breaks)
-The Original mix is normal four on the floor with narrating vocals over occasional twisted static beats. Koma & Bones remixed it giving twisting it with some kick ass breaks, creating an overall dark, eerie, atmospheric feel.

3. Menace -- Sound of the Floor -- Plastic Fantastic
--> the Superchumbo mix kicks ass
4. Weekend Players -- Into the Sun (Chab) -- Multiply
5. Franchesco Farfa -- The Search (2002 rmxs) -- Plastic Fantastic

although i don't dj, a few tracks making life nice right now!!!

orbital - illuminate (charlie may rmx)...wow, i heard this track a few times courtesy of matt @ system, but never realized it was this remix...great track, insanely haunting vocal...

db - point of view (quivver rmx) ... once again a vocal drives me crazy...not sure if this is new or old, but great track...

beber and tamara - you wonder (starecase rmx) ... getting the picture here, vocals, vocals & more vocals w/ a wicked breakbeat...

theres also some lemon 8 remix stuff i'm totally loving right now, along with the aforementioned weekend players track - into the sun (chab rmx)...

& an oldie but goodie, so i'll throw it in...lee coombs - future sound of retro...

1. Loco - Eighty Ten (Flatline Remix) - Global Harmony
deconstruction into destortion. best breakdown in ages and I hate breakdowns

2. Max Graham - Tell You (Luke Fair Remix) - Hope
Luke breathes new life into the Bjork-esque vocal. Tight, tight, tight production that turns out a room filling sound. Huge.

3. LSG - Saviour - Superstition
Oliver Lieb does hard tribal with a little guitar riff, killer.

4. Jigsaw - Unknown - Four 20
Nice to see dark progressive that's actually exciting, beautiful bassline.

5. Leandro Gamez - I'm One Of Them E.P. - Superbra
I just realized that I have a whole bunch of Gamez tracks that never noticed where by him. Funky, tribal, hard techno. Superbra is such a good label.

lemon 8 continues to be a force (all his production work lately has been so nice, trancey elements w/ a nice bassline & this from the title alone looks like an interesting track)...

& i haven't seen trendroid mentioned in a while since ignition/hausjam...both nice tracks in their own right...

Richard Saint - Consciousness EP - Primary
Surprised not to see it on any lists...Beautiful track. Deep, funky, melodic -what more could I ask for?

Creamer & K - I wish you were here [PMT mix] - Yris
Nu-skool Breaks at its best. This is by far the best mix of the track, I've been dropping it for weeks now!

Trigger - Rollercoaster [pablo gargano] - Acetate
peak time material.

Bluephase - The Bell [ocean wave] - Vapour
You guys probably don't play this kind of stuff, but Kasey Taylor has been putting out some prime shit. Nice and minimal, very crisp sounds.

TILT Feat. Maria Nayler - headstrong - baroque
killer bassline with a sexy vocal sample. mmmm tilt.

I'll have some more tomorrow night. :D

Peace & love. D

I have to agree with Matt here. This is Lukes best "sounding" track, in my opinion. Really clear and emphasized in just the right places. He's really progressing nicely as a producer. Everything just gets better and better. Well done old chap!

I picked that track up a little while ago, love it!

I think Kasey Taylor is the label boss of Vapour Recordings and that Bluephase is Nash-T though. Unless you just mean Kasey is putting nice stuff out on his label.

Oh well, maybe other people don't know in that case. LOL

And John, great call on the Orbital track! I can't believe I never grabbed it until I heard it on the Parks & Wilson Essential mix (even though they played the instrumental mix). I love it, such a class record that appeals to so many people.

I flipped past that one, and never bothered to listen to it.
Is it worth picking up? I guess I'll give' er a whirl next time I go shoppin.

Lately the pickin's at baseline have been light - so I haven't been able to buy many new records...... except these:

Little Green Men - Need (Satoshi T. Mix)

Pappa n Gilbey - Validate (Blackwatch Acid House Revival Mix)

Ubik - the dance - cause it's freakin hilarious to watch people dance to it when they're drunk. A very fun track indeed..

I agree with you on this one! I grabbed this on whitelabel @ release a good six months ago, and I'm still playing it. This mix kicks ass!

I love this one on a big system. That bassline is sooooo tough, it really gives the system a workout! Nice call!
