wow, what a night at revival! great venue, great food, great service and great people! the venue is sleek and classy and very open with a nice sound system. stone decor with cumfy booths and seating create a very comfortable environment to chill or groove in.

i played early on in the night (7-10pm) and, to my surprise, was followed up by kenny glasgow! he rocked out the sweet house grooves with some electro flavour thrown in for good taste. again, good people chilling, grooving and socializing to the music.

from there, we went to this cool little cafe called the pepper and experienced a true underground vibe. dj's ben blackwelland KLC throwing down the deep techouse and techno sounds, with sume dubtek flavour...

definitely the coolest place i have been in toronto in some time... although, revival is somewhere i would go back to in a second!

cheers, you people are very lucky in the city!

I was at Revival. Interesting crowd ... not very "College Street". Everyone was friendly and the night had a good turnout. I really enjoyed Kenny's set and it worked well for the atmosphere of the club. Some performer named "Bobby Dreadful" came on stage around 12am - 12:30am (none of us wore a watch :)) but it wasn't really my thing. I was a bit disappointed to see them lip-synching to be honest.

Anyhow, this was my second visit to Revival, and I must say I like the place a lot. It's cozy and classy.

the pepper is a little restaurant in kensington - they do this night bi-weekly.
it was great in the summer on the patio, but the poor owner/bartender had to keep chasing people who wanted to wander down augusta with their beers to go smoke joints.

toronto is very lucky, we're spoiled brats.

wish i'd made it to your gig deeno, we should play together again sometime again.

btw, it's benjamin.
