Well I got the hail in Leslieville, and it pretty much killed all the baby lettuce seedlings. Now is that thunder I hear?

Between this and the charity runs, how do you get through the day?

Frost warning too! WHat is left of my lettuces are going to be frostbitten. Boo.

Yeah, cover your stuff!

But make sure to cover the soil. That's where the heat source is coming from. Covering the leaves doesn't do anything. So a sheet, plastic or fabric that hits the soil supported by bricks or something heavy.

cover it up! creating a tent like covering will protect your lettuce seedlings.

Today was a great to to take my son to wonderland for his first time! No lines! I was so itching to put him off to the side while I just went on one for meee.

Hail only inconvenienced us a cpl times.
