Think back...think waaaaaay back...

I know there are lots of movie threads, but I just had to have my own.

Think back to the first movie you saw in theatre as a kid. For me it was such a magical moment, and created the movie maniac I am today.

-1st movie I remember was Gremlins. Man o Man I was scared shitless. I was wearing one of those sport jersey's with the holes in it so when I pulled my shirt up over my eyes I could still see it.(Didnt think to actually close eyes?) My dad dint help, on the walk home he kept talking in the Gremlin voice like "Heee Heee Im coming for you!!!"

-1st movie I saw but dont remember was Disneys, The Fox & The Hound.
-1st movie I was present during was STAR WARS, although I was in my mothers womb. I think I heard the music though.

Star Wars @ the theatre located at Steele and Jane.

I got the general gist of it (guy in white = good guy, big black menacing guy who breathes scary = bad guy)

It was in the summer of 1977.

I was 3.

From the Ministry of the movie changed my life.

I remember seeing an animated version of Moby Dick. I don't know for sure if that is what it was or not, but it had a whale in it, so that is my best guess.

I was like 4 or 5 or something when I was in England when I saw it. I just remember crying during it cuz some character went inside the whale and I thought he was gonna die. I apparently was so loud I was kicked out of the theatre (I was with my cousin).

The second movie I remember seeing was when I was living in the UK. I went to see Return Of The Jedi for my birthday. I remember saving all my candy until the end of the movie so that I wouldn't run out at the end. But then I didn't eat any and the end of the movie came. What a waste.

probably. i cry at a lot of things...when baby the dinosaur's mom was killed, when luke gutted his snow travellin monster to crawl inside, when pauly shore was kicked out of college...

The first movie I remember seeing is one of the Lost World ones and I remember hiding my head and plugging my ears when the tyranosaurus chassed Little Foot.

the first movie i saw in theatres was My Little Pony. i still have the giant movie poster..
when i was a kidd i wanted to be either honeysuckle or morning glory the flutterpony, whichever one was trapped down the well. (dont worry, i am already aware of the fact that i am a huge nerd.)

the next movie i saw i think was either the carebears movie or the little mermaid. the last unicorn fits into this timeframe somewhere too. fun times..
