As someone who was only ever a casual viewer of the show, I have really enjoyed this season. Not sure if I'd watch a reboot with the two new characters from last night though. Would you?

Actually dude did pretty well in the Duff and in last night's ep, and been a fan of ginger lady since 6 feet under.

Anyway as a charitable viewer still finding it hard to be that excited about these new eps - they've just been a bit oddball/off the wall I guess?

There's a softening/lightening of the xfiles mood, or at least the xfiles mood *I remember* an I think it has taken some of its old edge away...

I feel a bit disappointed to be honest, especially when realizing this is only 6 episodes.

These were your best 6 ideas - really?

The idea of a reboot with new cast actually excites me more than these past 6 episodes have, especially if Chris Carter can take a back seat/producing role and let new blood get the edge back

Yes my lady and I both remarked on how its strange she hasn't shown up more often since 6 feet under but then again I think thats true for most of the cast except for ironically, the character whose death it was spurred the action of the show in the pilot!

Richard Jenkins was incredible in Bone Tomahawk last year!

Another online review had Chris Carter as a George Lucas of the series. Great initial input, overall ideas could work, terrible hands on execution.

Still, I would hungover-marathon another six episodes, craddling last nights leftover chinese food, wishing I was a liver fluke monster.

The last episode was trying to be all things to all people. They should just turn it into a prequel to Walking Dead. Still better than most TV.

Final ep was one big pile of anti-vaccine conspiracy. Followed by a liberal dollop of left-wing politics, then fueled by more right-wing conspiracy nutbar theories.
