The demo for Bayonetta did nothing for me at all, and just confirmed a "no-purchase" for me.

I enjoyed the Dante Inferno demo, yeah - it's a total GoW rip-off, but it does it surprisingly well with a high level of polish, and seems to add a few of it's own things into the mix. I was curious about it before, and the demo is nudging me into the "will buy" category.

Anyone have a GoW3 demo code I could use? I purchased the collection, it came with a code - but it's not working. Emailed Custom Support the other week, but still no word back :(

Kind of curious to see how the GoW3 demo compares to the Dantes Inferno demo.

Anybody played the new Batman: Arkham Asylum ? Victor Lucas on EP says it's a great one but I don't trust him since he was involved with the game. Could be a plug:confused:

Whoops my bad.

I went to EB and traded in Halo OD for the Batman. I got $40 back for the Halo?? Plus another 10% off with the discount Edge card. I only had to pay $15 :D

I'm liking it so far, my eyes are too tired so I had to stop at the gas filled room.

Is this a good deal? Is there any difference between the 160 GB and the 250
GB version, other than the obvious? I seem to recall that older versions of the ps3 had different features depending on the size of the hard drive.

The 250 gig one is the redesigned smaller version of the ps3. It is probably a good idea if you don't have a lot of cabinet space. But those three games are pretty decent games.

Is 120 gb hard drive big enough or is the 250 gb one going to be better in the long run?

I think I'm going to pass on the 160gb deal, I don't have a whole pile or space and want to add a Home Theater receiver at some point in the future

Darksiders is out today for PS3 and 360!

Super pumped to give it a shot but was told not to buy it as my brother is coming in this weekend and we're doing a late present exchange.

I liked the Bayonetta demo for the 360, mindless beat em up type game
Alas, with moving and in the middle of Assassins Creed II, it wont be purchased for a while

Been playing the MAG open beta, and once you start leveling up the game does open up. The thing I had a hard time was getting down the controls, which is pretty easy but I had the MW2 system stuck in my head lol. Took me a good hour to adjust to their control style. Picking the right class for your play style is important. It's not the final version of the game as well, but there is no lag and people do play as a team more in this game, which I'm a big fan of.

^^LOL... it does happen that way sometimes, but only when you're strolling by yourself. In MAG because it's such a team influenced game it's important to stick with your platoon. Got a couple of upgrades yesterday that help out a lot. I got a scope for my assault rifle similar to the red dot in MW2, and some upgrade that lets me detect enemies from a further distance, which lets you spot out those dam snipers.

Just wanted to add the things that are keeping me back from making this game a pruchase is cycling through your weapons, which is a pain in the ass, respwaning sucks ass and takes too long and the lack of people using mics because half the battle is the leader of the pack dishing out commands to it's platoons, which never happens. If they can fix some of these issues this game should be fun.

I manage to give MAG most of my attention yesterday, and I must say once you start to get the MW2 style of play out of you and play more like a team, then the game becomes amazing. I'm getting this game for sure it's pretty enjoyable IMO. I love the fact that it forces you to play as a team and instead of kill streaks being the most important part they set up tactical goals that you need to achieve. Also the upgrading system is wicked in this game the more EXP you get the more items you can up grade in your arsenal. Right now I'm rocking the AK rifle with scope, Grenades, Acrostic amplifier (this device lets you pic up gun fire from a distance and informs your whole team where they are), med kit and medium armor. I finally got use to the controls so that's not an issue anymore. I still think they should sell this game with mics so anyone playing it an communicate with each other.

I did play on all 3 fractions in this game there is Raven, Valor and S.V.E.R. I started out with Raven because they have the best technology, but found that most people joining this fraction suck as playing as a team, so I deleted my player profile for Raven because you can only have one profile at a time. Then I went to Valor and found that they are just as bad as Raven lol. The last option I have was S.V.E.R.. S.V.E.R. is the fraction with the best players IMO. Most people on that team have mics and play as a tight team, which was a nice change from the last two fractions.
