Well I just came from seeing Final Destination 3 so technically I was out, but i'm settled in for the night now! Yay to hot chocolate and a bunch of downloaded Colbert Report.

Who else is staying in in this collllllllld ass weather? Lazy? Saving money? Whatcha going to do instead?

I was supposed to go out to Minglewood's tonight, however I vetoed that idea seeing as it's an awesome -18C with a windchill of -30C here in Ottawa. So I'm making myself a cup of rooibos tea and some vanilla pudding, and I'm trying to decide if I want to watch a movie or a documentary under my comforter on the couch.

I was sick at the start of the weekend so I didn't make any plans. That and it's the start of a very busy reading week.
Tonight I watched "Must Love Dogs" (not my pick), ate sushi, drank a litre of green tea and basically snorted the wasabi in the hopes of alleviating my stuffiness/sore throat.
I was supposed to do work today but managed to get nothing done. But I am feeling better so that's a start. I'm going to bed shortly.

getting everything ready for a snowshoe trip next weekend in Gatineau Park (that -30c is a little intimidating right now), just finished watching the NBA all-star skills night - one of the better dunk competitons in a while................unfortunately, my sticky green friend is all out :(

Just got back from a trip to Calgary, went hard last night and I'm trying to detox and unwind tonight, although it's kind of killing me to stay in but the weather is awesome motivation. I'll probably watch a flick and get some work done.

Pondering whether or not to uninstall my broken WinXP OS (I'm currently in safe mode) and install Gentoo or read The Diamond Age (Neal Stephenson). I'm currently half way done.

Whatever I choose to do will be in the company of Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient works (first and second volumes).

Hankie is trippy.

*edit* Or I could make this night interested and get lifted.

lol, if you do a stage1 gentoo install, you may as well pick up the book and read while your system is being built. The compilation of gcc and associated libraries is, um, slow. :)

I just came back from doing cardio in my building's work-out room...going to shower and clean-up as my boyfriend is coming over at some point after his evening of gaming geekness.

Anyone know of late-night sushi delivery? I'm craving!

Just realized that my friends have been trying to call me for the last two hours. (Had cell phone on vibrate and it was in my coat pocket.) Called them, and they successfully guilted me into going out. Might as well put in an appearance for a few hours.

I would have already done this if I had another hard drive. I don't want to accidently mount a swap partition where all my mp3s, pictures, movies, and other important documents are. Shit tends to happen in those situations.

Not to mention that I don't really know what the hell I'm doing, but the documentation is pretty decent and it's nice that I can use "links" to read it online.
