Now that's a good Sopranos episode! Holy fuck I wasn't this engaged in an episode for a long time. The scene where he saves A.J. was done amazingly well and I had shivers on my neck and slightly teary eyes. Yah yah. :p

That was last year, they are on by Monday now. Just used it to watch the latest. Holy fuck, I jumped up and cheered when Tony stomped that guy.

I'm glad to see that the sopranos has returned to the good old days of Tony alternating between violence and depression. The last two episodes are right out of season 1-2 with the parallel drama in Tony's personal and business life putting him in a pinch.

Tony finding AJ in the pool was brilliant, and Tony going ballistic on Coco was pure old-school eye for an eye revenge; Tony finding the tooth in the cuff of his pants was one of those hilarious Soprano's moments that have been far to infrequentr in the last couple of seasons. Too bad there are only 2 (3?) episodes left as Chase and crew seem to be finding their pace again.

Yeah I noticed quite the bit of humour mixed in this episode. Like everytime someone tried to relate to Tony about AJ trying off himself, none of their stories ever had kids who actually were depressed enough to want to kill themselves. lol

Next Monday is Memorial Day in the U.S., and HBO generally doesn't air episodes on long weekends, so I think it's only two left. :(

has anyone watched an episode yet on tmn on demand? just wondering how quickly they make them available after their sunday night showing....
)

Actually it is available right after the first showing (10pm) I have been watching it on demand like that most of the season due to other tv conflicts.

IWhen Tony and Chris were driving and Tony started to mention something about a hit or whatever that they were both involved in, Christopher started to turn up the music really loud and then Tony gave him a weird look. Do you think that that Christopher thought that Tony had a wire on and was trying to get info on him?

Lobo

I think that Tony suspected he was high and that's why he kept looking over at Chris ... skeptically... you know?

I can understand why some people think that Tony was "putting him out of his misery" but i looked into Tony's eyes when he was doing it and there was pure evil lurking there.

I loved it when Dr. Melfi asked if Tony thought AJ maybe subconsciously knew the rope was too long to keep him submerged and Tony retorted that maybe AJ is just a fucking idiot b/c historically that's been the case.

god - i still hate that snivelling little dork.

My interpretation of the car scene was more that Chris wasn't interesting in talking with Tony.. they had seriously grown apart since the Adrianna situation. He turned up the radio to lesson the awkwardness that lingered between them.

but it's been awile.. I should watch it again

it's because he was a junky.
when tony saw the branch torn through the baby seat in the back, he realized chrissy was a junkie that would never change....he would either kill someone else or rat him out or whatever.
but like JUNIOR said, when a dog gets rabbie's you put it out of it's misery.

chrissy admitted he was high while hurt in teh drivers seat. tony saw the chair, thought about all the troubles chriissy had caused....(and the had grown apart).

it was time. "nip it in the bud"

maybe i'm a music junkie but i thought he was turning up the stereo to get tony to quit yapping and pay attention to/hear the lyrics of the tune being played at the time... if i recall it was a floyd track though i can't recall what it was of the top of my head. meh?

Comfortably Numb.

they're certainly setting things up to be a NYC / NJ blow out between families... I hope they don't do that, it'd be so cliche.

I think he was turning the radio up because he wasn't sure if Tony had a wire, that epsiode where he talks to Chris asking for those muslim dudes numbers telling Chris "I'm talking with some people" Chris said "some people?" kindve suspciously.
I am probably off though.

I concur...the last two episodes have might more tightly plotted with less fuckery.

I still think killing Christopher is hugely out of character for the TS built over 5+ seasons. He is a sociopath, yes, but one's deluded opinion of himself as a "nice guy" wouldnt allow him to kill his best friend unless it was a sudden act of passion or for another reason he could rationalize away.
