totally wound me up for the last 20 mins or so. Kept expecting someone to walk out from around a corner.

... and the way they whacked Leotardo. FUCKING AWESOME. Couldn't have asked for a better hit. I mean, his relative's freakout causing the truck to roll over his head...

No, my heart was pounding as well. I was wondering which guys were going to do him in. :)

Not sure I liked how it ended though. Too sudden and what was the deal with Meadow and parking her car??? Either way, Tony will not be back. From what I've read, he's done with his character so I doubt we would see him if a movie comes out.

Phil Leotardo. Best whacking ever.
The last scene:maybe the most pulse-pounding non-action scene ever.

But what was with the whole parallel parking fiasco?

Great show. Great series.

The girl that played Meadow's friend is from Season 1 and she is actually David Chase's real life daughter.

I'm glad it ended on an uplifting note. Family matters most. My heart was pounding at the end too, I thought Tony was going to get shot cause you never know with this show. Not the most predictable ending that's forsure.

I still think the series ended prematurely, but I guess that's James Gandolfini's fault.

err,umm, you're kidding right?? :O

loved the episode, loved the ending, however. there would have been some justice in see'ing tony get wacked at the end. i wonder if that's one of the alternate endings. hopefully theyget leaked onto youtube at some point :p

well i only saw the last 10 minutes, but i'd guess the parallel parking thing related to the whole vehicular theme of destruction - a hit by a vehicle, an explosion by a vehicle, and i'd guess that what might happen next is either chickadee gets whacked as she's running in late for the dinner, or its the very fact that she had so much trouble parking that saves her.

i think chase wanted it done regardless of who wanted to come back or who didn't. hell, he wanted to end it after season 4

Did you see the end credits: those guys who walked into the diner and sat down by themselves - one of them was named Nicky Leotardo!

That's the beauty of this show. You can't always take it for face value, there's always so much more beneath the surface. That's why I hate reading all these reviews from people saying the ending sucked.

I thought the ending was perfect, the casual watchers will think it sucked because "nothing happened", and the people who actually use their brain will follow the clues throughout and know what happened after...i.e that guy (Nicky Leotardo - good i.d alexd!) from the restaurant came out of the bathroom and shot Tony. Remember Bobby and Tony talking about hunting and Tony asked him if he thought the deer knew. Bobby told him, "You never hear the one that got you."

but to be honest, there is no way the ending was tony getting wacked

if anything, it displayed tony's constant fight in his life, always looking behind him, the end of him always around the corner.....constant paranoia
