Been too long since I've seen them live. Last show I caught was at Metropolis Theatre in Montreal during the Jazz Festival and it was off.the.hook. Can't wait!

First time I saw the Roots was at the opera house when I was in grade 13. It was, needless to say, one of the best and most vivid shows I have ever seen. Second time I saw them at the kool haus was when the fourth* album came out. The lights were off, there was this "cowbell" sound being hit at a nice beat, walking through the crowd. Then another, and another. Suddenly we heard a DJ perform some scratching. The lights blast off, and it's rahzel doing his thing. Needless to say, it was one of the best and most vivid shows I have ever seen. Those are the only two times I've seen them, but it's worth every single penny. Might go this time, but if you have never seen? go see.

i can't go. i have to have a functional voice on Thursday mornign to conduct interviews with and I KNOW that this concert will be the death of me. Not to mention, I need no further documentation of my stage-dancing obesssion.
