The most amazing thing!

...Just happened to me. I just came back from lunch and I'm sitting at my desk checking my outlook. I open this email from this girl who works at the hersey centre (she also works here part time) and....yada....yada....yada.....she won 2 tickets for Paul Okenfold/Chemical brother's so she brought them in and gave them to me!!!

Crazy! this stuff just doesn't happen to me ever!

Equal generosity awards must go to the random mysterious kind bloke who just knocked on my door and vanished with no trace, leaving behind a fancy paper bag containing two pairs of slightly worn Italian shoes in my size. I have not been in Vancouver long enough to have discussed shoe size with strangers so this leaves me sitting here pondering who it could have been.
Years ago as a mischievous lad in England, one would knock on somebody’s door and leave newspapers smoldering the remains of a dogs diner. Here in Vancouver, people knock and leave designer brogues. There really is a higher standard of living in Canada.
