I was gonna ask one of the breeders if i can borrow a tot for the afternoon. Think of it as free babysitting. And if you throw in a twenty for snacks & shit, I will even escort them at least halfway home.
A coworker asked me if he could take his kid to it (3 years old), I thought that it was a bit scary for him. Parents, what's the appropriate age to take a kid to see this movie? If I had one I would probably let my kid decide and let him / her live with the consequences.
Thanks for the tip. Re kids, my 5 year old has seen xmen, pacific, lotr, iron man, etc. loves it. I say if they want to see it and they are pretty brave types, let them give it a go. kids in the sudan, cambodia, congo, etc, see far worse. Although, I showed him iron man when he was 3 and that night he woke up in the middle of the night screaming, "my eyes my eyes..." Lol. He went back to sleep though.
i bought tix online on monday anticipating a busy theatre on family day. we arrived 15 minutes prior to the show's start time and the theatre was already full. the theatre (Beaches) refunded me in cash, minus the $1 per ticket online service fee and we had already paid for parking too. it was very disappointing. still going to see this at some point - most likely on an afternoon after school to avoid a repeat of the aforementioned debacle.
