Agreed. It looks kind of different than what I was expecting. I wont' see it b/c my 2 year old wouldn't sit thru a movie, not yet at least.

I was gonna ask one of the breeders if i can borrow a tot for the afternoon. Think of it as free babysitting. And if you throw in a twenty for snacks & shit, I will even escort them at least halfway home.

This movie was awesome! Kinda reminds me of Wreck it Ralph in certain regards. I would definitely recommend it.

If you have kids, take 'em. No kids, take drugs. 90 mins eye boners.
A coworker asked me if he could take his kid to it (3 years old), I thought that it was a bit scary for him. Parents, what's the appropriate age to take a kid to see this movie? If I had one I would probably let my kid decide and let him / her live with the consequences.

glad to hear it's good, we went to the Saturday noon showing and had to leave 15 seconds in due to the mrs's water breaking during the previews.

Thanks for the tip. Re kids, my 5 year old has seen xmen, pacific, lotr, iron man, etc. loves it. I say if they want to see it and they are pretty brave types, let them give it a go. kids in the sudan, cambodia, congo, etc, see far worse. Although, I showed him iron man when he was 3 and that night he woke up in the middle of the night screaming, "my eyes my eyes..." Lol. He went back to sleep though. :)

All is well, and I want to see this movie even more now that I found the directors are from Clone High where they worked with Bill Lawrence of Scrubs fame.

We really enjoyed it.

I was surprised (and pleased) to learn that Tegan and Sara (and The Lonely Island) were responsible for the recording of "Everything Is Awesome"...

i bought tix online on monday anticipating a busy theatre on family day. we arrived 15 minutes prior to the show's start time and the theatre was already full. the theatre (Beaches) refunded me in cash, minus the $1 per ticket online service fee and we had already paid for parking too. it was very disappointing. still going to see this at some point - most likely on an afternoon after school to avoid a repeat of the aforementioned debacle.

Super late to this, and loved every second of it. The Harrison Ford cameo blew me away, and the nods to early 80s Space Lego (esp. the cracked blue helmet) made me

I loved the cracked blue helmet! I was all "Oh my god, I wasn't the only one with a cracked blue helmet!!"
