PSP all the way. All the EA sports games are great on it. GOW was awesome.

And once you realize all that the PSP can do, it is a no brainer.

I have the GPS unit and Camera attachment coming from Japan soon!!

Deciding between the PSP and Nintendo Option.

I prefer sports games, and puzzle games (and of course the typical mario/crash bandicoot action adventure type)

I don't think I'll be using it to watch movies, and this is for long flights mostly so games games games.

Tell me tribe, which do you prefer?
PSP all the way.

Hack it and then you can backup your games onto a memory stick instead of having to card around the UMD discs.

I have an 8GB stick that can fit over 12 games and an SNES emulator with something like 30 games on it.

If it was me I would say both, but right now my PSP is getting way more play then my DS.

With the PSP you will get a system that provides you with the best graphics for a portable system. The games are more geared towards adults, so you can find some really deep cool games on that system, but the library still needs working on IMO.

The DS is also a great portable system I find on the DS you can get some pretty cool RPG games on it, but the graphics are not as eye catching on the DS (that's if you care about graphics as well). The DS will come out with some pretty addictive games and the libary is pretty big as well.

If you where to ask me right now I would say the PSP because I'm just finding games on there that are more suited to me, and you can soft mod the thing so you don't compromise your system, which is always a good thing. Also some of the new games they are coming out with it are pretty cool. From what I heard there will be a Little Big Planet for the PSP, which is going to be awesome IMO.

My friend had a DS and it only held his attention for a few months.
The DS is not for everyone, but it has one of the highest sales when it come to consoles sold. To me DS games are flash games on steroids.

The Zelda game for the DS is amazing... one of the best games to get on the DS.

Nintendo could put out a new Mario or Zelda game every month and I'd buy them.

As long as they were platformers and not cheesy spin-offs.

Mario Kart on the DS, likewise, is the best iteration of that game ever - including the Wii version.

Nothing like wrecking some dude from Japan in Battle Mode while on the toilet.

The Metroid and Call of Duty games are surprisingly good too - no console game replicates the mouse + keyboard feel quite like the DS stylus.
