^^ yeah, that was very impressive. nice transition from kimura to omaplata, to side choke to finally a triangle from the mount. the side choke and triangle from the mount are two of my favourite submissions as well. but my all-time favourite is the spinning anaconda choke. see big nog/herring II.

peace

ungh! just watched the Fight Network and the dude broke his leg with a leg kick. It was one of the most disgusting things I have seen. Guy steps in to do a leg kick and his shin busts in half and his foot swings around the other guys leg. As he steps back (obviously from the pain) he then STEPS on his fucked up broken leg!!!!(and it folds in half up the rest of his leg)

It was like "faces of death" only with close ups and repeats!

lol....there is no weed strong enough in the world to make this good but it'll be so bad I know i'll love it

pshaw.

it's david mammet - so at least the dialogue will be written well, and the plot may actually be layered.

Whether it's executed well is another story.

Shit...my friend from college, Rowan Cunningham. Seems like he is doing quite well.

Rowan is a manly man, but he did come over to my place once, we watched the movie "Rudy" and he started bawling at the end. This information should not get out to his opponents.

Definitely, that was a war.

The LW division is always entertaining, very glad it's in the UFC.

Great fights in Dream.3

Hansen vs. Alvarez = AWESOME fight. Simply awesome from start to finish.

Ishida vs. Uno = Amazing finish.

Kawajiri vs. Buscape = Decent enough.

The rest of the fights of interest (Manhof, Miller, Diaz) went as expected, with the "name" fighters destroying their Japanese/Korean opponents. Diaz mauled Inoue for the last 30 seconds. Dude was out on his feet - you could hear the crack as Diaz tee'd off on Inoue's jaw. Manhof did his opponent in with one knee on the ground and Miller ran a clinic on Shibata.

The other fights were okay, but nothing to write home about.

So, after this, we'll just have to wait for Aoki to fight Nakamura IIRC and we'll have the final 4.

Oh nice re: Day replacing Leben. He did great vs. Belcher. I think Bisping has a more complete game than Belcher, but Day looks good and I'm going to be cheering for him. I'm not a fan of Bisping though I'll admit he looked good at 185 on his last outing. Day looks to be just as fast though.
